I did the same drop kit and I'll tell you that the spring suck. Your best bet is to go with a progressive rated spring and they're not cheap they're like 240 bucks for a set. If you're only going to drop your front end on just lowering springs and not do spindles they need to be premium. Also wish that I never did the flip kit because when you do that you lose a whole lot of carrying capacity. You put any more than like four things in the bed it'll sag. You're better off leaving the axle alone and getting drop shackles. All of that complimented by belltech pro Street shock absorbers . your welcome

I used the maxtrac 3/5 lowering kit on my 07 ranger, and iy was horrible. I drove it for probably around 750 miles and i am currently changing it to OEM. you felt every signle bump, and when taking out bump stops your control arms hit the frame and make very bad noises. It is more like an 8 inch drop, i had about 1 inch of clearance between the front control arms and the frame.

If you lower a "work truck" is it still a work truck? Won't it be dragging the ground and slamming the ground each bump? Not sure how that ranger will ride with it's max 800 pound or whatever payload? I use to abuse mine. Often carrying 1500 pounds and pulling way to heavy trailers that sagged it pretty good.
@pussylicker6323 жыл бұрын
I think this type of modification is for people who don’t use there truck for hauling super heavy stuff or trailers. It’s more to convert it to a sportier kinda street truck
