How to lower a GY6 50cc or 150cc scooter (Rear)

I love the idea of lowering the bikes they look great cool until you miss Goin a bit off road definitely made a difference

Yeah that's true. I like the way this one turned out. it's only slightly lower. I miss the 171 I lowered. It was really comfortable. On both bikes the ground clearance wasn't bad at all. I like having a low seat height.

That's a nice looking shock. I had a heck of a time getting mine on when I first got the scooter. What brand of tires do you use?

Thanks. The shock I installed on my 171cc turned out great. It leveled out the seat and I reupholstered the seat with extra padding which made it very comfortable. I had a bar under the tire helping me lift it up. It has the stock tires on it right now, but I usually buy Shinko tires they are cheap quality tires.

I'm sure it is. I can't tell the difference on this 50cc though. I put one of these on my 150cc Lancer and it lowered and leveled the seat out perfect.

They are a little expensive. You could look at the specs and find a similar shock. I think that listing is for a pair. I got a pair for about $70.

You want .003 inches for the intake and .004 inches for the exhaust.
