Sleeping is impossible with high cortisol. Im 1.3 years with adrneal fatigue and slowly I feel it is getting lower, therapy and releasing emotions from the past helped a lot

Nice video JDoc this made it simple, a lot of videos I watched on this subject matter, not only don't explain it as well as you did, but make it seem so complicated. I'm saving this to Favourites and giving it the thumbs up. Thank you. "Heart Brain Coherence" is a form of meditation that is being recommended by doctors to relieve stress and lower anxiety, which seems to be the one thing they all agree on. Take care folks.

Agree with getting rid of all box food/supermarket foods .... but you realize not all dairy are related right? Supermarket dairy are junk because it is created for profit not for health, but dairy made from raw milk is very good for your health. Growing up in the north East of Italy every family had a cheese plate after the meal. They had farmer cheese of course. The elderly lived way beyond 90-100...... and they used to wake up at 5 am and you would see them clean the outside the house daily.

I have minor MS attack that caused numbness in my left body side Then i went to the emergency, and insisted to get Cortisol course, they gave after they warned me really! But I ignored that. 1000 mg injection IV daily in 2 hours period for 3 days (total 3000 mg) After one week, i feel my stomach is burning, i feel it is very hot inside, the heat is moving from my stomach till my thighs. Sometime goes down to my feet. I realized after reading a lot that I should have done it properly by cutting it gradually in long period. I am 38 years. I want to get red of this dose, the heat really hurts me. Regards, Emad

Does chronic stress leading to constant high levels of cortisol prevent the bodys ability to absorb 5htp or Ldopa supplements. Patients taking prednisone may have falsely increased cortisol levels because prednisone is converted to prednisolone after ingestion and prednisolone has a 41% cross-reactivity. Cortisol levels may be increased in pregnancy and with exogenous estrogens.

Great video - I've just had a saliva cortisol test and I'm above the max limits morning till night. BUT I have no symptoms other than now and then bad sleep (not feeling tired at night, but this is the exception every few months). I have a good diet, very stress free life, decent exercise, not overweight, Good BP (108/68 avg), and all other bloods are good (cholesterol, high natural Vit D, etc). A one off blood test 6 years back also said I had high cortisol. They did a mass of tests and scans (Cushings, etc), nothing was found to be wrong. So now I'm confused as I don't line up at all with you video. Any ideas? Can some people just naturally have higher cortisol for no apparent reason? I'm 49 years old BTW :)

Probably i have high cortisol in afternoon although i m not sure what is going on. When i go on protein foods i get energy crash. I do better on more carbs yet strangely is if i train i m having swollen legs probably my body is increasing more cortisol. It s like i have elevated cortisol because of adrenaline deficiency. No doctor managed to help me..mri is clear. I don t have stress but before i had a trauma and maybe it s affecting me. I wake up fine then in the afternoon i even get blurry vision. Maybe gaba or dopamine deficiency causing high cortisol or overactive hpa. Can you hint?

A whole foods plant based diet can regulate all of our systems. Animal meat dairy and eggs is not necessary in our diets as we can get all the nutrients our bodies need from natural foods so that they can function properly as they should. Omega 3 FAs can be found in nuts and seeds. I am healthier now at nearly sixty six after nearly nine years on a mainly plant based diet and limited amounts of processed foods as occasional treats. Regular exercise and quality sleep are also important for quality of life.
