Thanks for the comment LS4.8 Frank. We are going boost with this car soon so its setting it up for that. Its kinda like a big cam hurts low end but makes up for it in the big end. just depends on what your trying to achieve.

Thanks for the comment tfd4077! We just modified the Ford crossmember the trans was real close in length so it was pretty easy. I'm sire the 4l80 should be similar.

@@TeamFailureDisappointment we did a walboro 450 pump dropped the tank and swapped out the pump only. Our fuel system has a return line so we drilled the sending unit cover/cap and put one of those an fuel fitting to screw on the return hose. Both were straight forward

Tony on the new edge mustang LS swap. How do you get your factory dash speedo gauge and tach gauge to work ?

@@shugg0517 you have a couple options you can go stand alone like terminator x that comes with a digital screen, after market gauges like dakota digital or other brands that you have to wire up.. those replace your factory gauges so it will look oem. But from what I know you can't make the chevy computer power the ford gaiges.

Hey i was wondering im wanting do do one of these builds so i want to start with building the engine and i need to know for the new edge what ls motor is like thr best for n/a power and whats best for turbo power, im wanting to make around 600 to 700hp im guessing it could do it n/a but id be okay with turbo just wondering if i need a 5.3 or 6.0 or the 6.2 or whatever the other ones are i just need help finding the right one to then go and pick and start buiding

I plan on LS swapping my 04 Stang. It’s an automatic transmission though. How do I find the right transmission to fit the engine ??

Thanks for the comment idkwhattoputforaname24! the best thing to do is to get them together that way you know the combination will work. a lot of people sell the engine and trans together or pull it from the junkyard together.. and its best to get the complete engine with accessories and the ecu.

What drive shaft are using with the 4l65?

stock GT one just sent it to a driveshaft shop they replaced the front slip yoke to fit 4l60 shaft its the same for any 4l60-4l70. that way it bolts up to the GT rear end. They install new ujoints and balance the driveshaft.
