Expected a reference to finding a mentor (a Guru) who has accomplished something tangible and whom one can look up to for inspiration, guidance, motivation. Of course, this would be in addition to one's own drive and diligence. A maargadarshak may not show the entire path or hold one's hand throughout but he gives a nudge when needed, a finishing touch when appropriate.
