I believe this man 💯. I drive for Uber full time and making from $800 and up every week. I can’t believe people are complaining and saying negative things about Uber. The lessons I have learned driving Uber is your time is valuable, don’t waste it. Make sure you have a 4 cylinder car, make sure you car is clean and smell good, make sure you use safe driving mode, be respectful, be mindful, be kind and nice and you will make more money and 5 star rating all the way. If I had listen to the naysayers I would have been stuck behind a 9 to 5 job collecting chicken change for a paycheck. I love driving for Uber and it allows me or meet people and network.

You got that right. I am in my 50's, therefore, I definitely don't see myself still driving 50 hours a week, as I enter my 60's. I am trying to Promote myself this year. Have these people not heard about the self-driving Rideshare cars of the future, which may displace many Drivers. Are they living inside of a Bubble. Duh? Amen to self-promotions.

Calvin, I think the majority of people subscribed to your channel are more interested in improving their craft as a rideshare driver to increase their income. Driving for one year is a good start but the demand changes in any given market (Atlanta for example) over time. It's important to share tips and tricks learned over time consistently (not just for one year) as well as issues drivers have with this company to others. I admire your business tactics and creative skill. Keep up the good work!
@TheSimpleDriver6 жыл бұрын
Lydia thanks for the comment, but you have forgotten one thing. I know more about the Rideshare business and Driving than 95% of the people driving now. WHY? Remember, I have a direct line to UBER themselves at this level. Remember, I interviewed Rachel Holt (A VP at UBER). I still have connections. In addition to this I coach and speak with 100's of drivers monthly. I actually know what's going on in many different markets on a ground level... Especially Atlanta. I get fresh information DAILY through email and text about the Rideshare business. It's that information that people pay coaching for because it's so FRESH. Trying to publish it through video would require TOO much of my time. Again, just because I don't drive now doesn't mean I don't know what's going on in the streets. I actually know more now than I ever did driving and it's updated DAILY. I'm trying to get drivers to this level because it's wonderful. Hope this helps you.

My Lyft/Uber driver today discussed these 6-7 points Calvin makes with me. He also felt comfortable to tell me his Tax total, as a driver, last year was $88,321. Some Lyft drivers complain to me about costs, and poor income. Others are loving the job, and making money. It's distributed on about the 20%/80% rule. 20% of my drivers don't make money. The others are fine with the money, the mileage, and their circumstances. My first encounter with a driver about money was a drunk patron here in Las Vegas. He stated he would not be working that day, (2am), but when I asked he stated he drives Uber, starts at 6am, turning on in the same parking lot each day, and he makes $800/week. He is done each day by 2 pm.

What happens when people can not drive for a period of time? A lot of drivers don't take that into consideration. Disability can strike, you can get deactivated for no reason, you have to take time off for family emergencies, etc. Diversification of how income is created is super important. All eggs in one basket is just not a good idea. Even if you work for someone, same thing...all eggs in one basket. Diversify, invest, create wealth. Dennis Sanabria Yes, I can. Uber is a Tech company that is focused on their business. You have to focus on YOUR business. Use them to get to YOUR next level. I never care about their rates. EVER!! They will always change to better them. It’s the one reason I teach building a multiple stream business model with 8 revenue streams. It’s also the reason I NEVER did a “Surge” video. Who cares about surges. Focus on what I’m teaching on this channel and you will NEVER care what Uber does outside of completely failing. I hope this answer helps you. If it doesn’t ask me anything else you want to.

I love ridesharing, I do Uber & Lyft, I also own a business in my local town. I am always looking to do more. How do you feel about still doing Lyft/Uber but also legally becoming a Licensed/commercial/ private transportation service too? example, I still use Lyft and Uber app for what its for, but what about the constant passengers that lets say want a weekly trip to work or to an airport and they want you personally. So we as Private drivers (doing legal of course, business license, commercial insurance, etc) we can offer this service as well, our own private company too?! I'm not talking about leaving Uber or Lyft, just another option for passengers that want to use me more consistently. I know people in my local area that do this ILLEGALLY, and take cash on the side! I do not permit this and think this is wrong and they should get caught, etc. I'm wanting to legally take private clients when the opportunity arrises. Is this beneficial? I don't want to do a limo service, just a nice Uber X car like I have now, and just do this for private clients. Is this a good idea? what are the actually steps in doing this the legal way, correct process (I'm in california) Business License, LLC, Insurance, anything else? Thank you for any advice

Hey so I’m so been watching your videos on becoming an Uber driver and I’m not there yet just waiting to pass my road test so I can get my license, and I see you have your own cars, but what advice would you have for me as someone who doesn’t have a car, but is instead planning on renting a car? Doesn’t have to necessarily be from Uber but it can also be from another company to use for Uber? Is it a bad idea, just because I don’t want to be one of those people that get a regular job and is miserable, I need to be able to help my family out while also start my other careers while also saving money (and yes I know that it can also depend how much you work) and I felt from watching you videos, that I could make that possible even if it’s renting a car. But yes would it be possible or not? Don’t want an answer based on satisfaction but more of the truth

The basketball analogy was for the understanding that it makes ZERO sense to not move to another level. Go watch it again and take off your blinders. You are going to deep. Of course MJ played for more than a year. This entire video is about moving to a higher level.
@smack9x6 жыл бұрын
I think majority of people already know that moving to another level is great. However, your MJ analogy in your video was brought up in reference to how relevant you are. You said that people question how relevant you are by your 1 year of experience. I wasn't going that deep just stating it was bad analogy.
