Thank you, Dave. I did not really have the time to watch the whole thing, but damn, I did! So engaging. I am new at this activity--have carved five owls that are, well, owls--but your wood spirit has fired me up to try one. Love that you used some throw-away wood. Dude, you are a great teacher. I will be retiring from teaching high school in a year, and I can tell you care. Thank you.

I do small wood carving and would like to get into chainsaw art. This was awesome, ty, subbing you. I would love to hear how you sell these, I would love to make some money with the art, but I have had a hard time getting someone to actually buy one.

Thank you for the sub, I have had success selling at art expos, farmers markets, and home and garden shows, the biggest thins is starting my price lower and working up to build confidence in myself and the client

Very interesting video, it wasn't even a topic I had searched for, but it was fun to watch. In my opinion a couple of things I might have enjoyed that you may think about 1) many of the really big woodworkers on youtube talk a lot, don't worry about it, but it's always an option to shoot all the way through and do a voice over... I have noticed many of the bigger names eg: blacktail studios, foureyes go this route and maybe it would help to keep the flow. 2) shoot landscape (or if it's a camera change the aspect ratio so it doesn't show as a square.) I know the wood was oriented portrait and you were standing up so it made sense, but for uploading to youtube it's nice if I can go full screen with no black bars. I noticed you are getting close to 1000 subscribers, so hopefully I sounded like I was trying to help get you there, not complain. and I think you motivated me to try it.

Thank you for the helpful advice. I have a few videos that have voiceover and being an artist not a video creator. I really don’t know what I am doing so I appreciate positive feedback thank you check out some of my other videos if you like.|

Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video, I found it very interesting and informative...I've always been interested in this carving , I've done small stuff but never had the guts to attempt something like that. Wow! Definitely a new subscriber and I'll be rewatcheing this video for guidance in my carving. Thanks again. 🇨🇦🇬🇧🇺🇸
