this is a linear dc converter , is not eficient converter. It consumes a lot of energy to reduce voltage, it is much better to do it with a mosfet transistor

yes this question is important. his use three ic cause you can use one ic using in circuit the power supply is supposed battery 24v and ampere is 100 then this case ic was blast and circuit is break you can use three two ic then result is check is was highly heat then use 3 ic in this case 1st ic medium heat other two ic normally heat and circuit will ok work. so in this circuit use 3 ic for ampere reason cause ampere was truck battery haighly.

@@markusgarvey L7812 has a maximum output current of 1.5A, which at 24V input voltage means ~18W heat dissipation. It's a lot on a component this size, even with that heatsink installed. You also can't use them paralelly like that. This circuit is'nt much better than a free energy device.
