I want to take my 05 Accord lx and take it from its stock 160hp to about 250hp, it’s an amazing car and I think just a little more power after supporting mods would make it a perfect car for me ❤

A2 swap from an 04-05 TSX will get you well on your way. Drops right into the 03-05 Accord. Just need a tuner to disable EGR.
@brucey5585 Жыл бұрын
Your accord have a 9.7 compression. Change that to 12.4:1 and add cams. Then get a catless header. Also get a tuner. You should now be close to 230-250. Dont forget premium gas only from now on.
@ruthnoya84244 ай бұрын
Yeah...your accord has the weaker k24 low compression, mods wont get you to 250hp. It's cheaper to just buy a $850 k24a2 engine and swap in...or ebay turbo your stock engine.

I inherited a 05 Civic EM2 EX SE 5 speed and I was never in the import scene maybe bc I just never opted to buy one. But since I've own this civic I've fallen In love with it I've now owned it for about 2 years and seeing the K series engine and the potential it has has opened my eyes. The only thing for me has been and I'm sure we can agree is that there is a lot of misleading information on the internet. I like your channel and what you guys are doing so my plan now is to swap a k series in my EM2 thanks again for your channel maybe one day we can meet at the track.

From @10:00 onwards about ppl being secretive vs sharing the knowledge, you get more bees with honey💪 it’s not like helping others will undo what you have accomplished or your wisdom… even if those types of ppl were to speak out what they know, it’s still not going to hurt them in the kind of way you would imagine it would bcs it STILL takes months and years to be physically capable and knowledgeable enough to a apply that advice and execute it well enough to be any kind of a threat while still assuming you also have the “connections” of social network and the time and money to buy parts and labor services. The real crowds that might be a competitive threat are those on the track as often as you, not the ones spending half their time on YT and still in phase 1 or 2 of this racing demographic. So what you said and how you put it is a mature and noble way to clear that statement because… todays newcomers are tomorrow’s future for motor sports UNLESS yall want this whole drag scene to go fully electric 😂… OMG imagine the crowd on the bleachers wearing Bluetooth headphones so that we could all hear the AI simulated exhaust on the electric cars on the drag strip 😆.

Some times downforce isn’t good. Plus too much is not good. But it’s a front wheel. The objective with the downforce is to put pressure on that certain area. Preferably where the power is. U really would need it in the front. But it’s like adding weight. U know this. But some others don’t. It’s just a fad for them. It’s not. Wings actually serve purpose. Lip kits are the Same deal.
@claudedottin1312 Жыл бұрын
In road racing all of this applies. And yes a wing or spoiler will and can help for stability. Look at Audi TT recall. They added a little spoiler because this fwd car had too much rear lift causing crashes
@steammartian7705 Жыл бұрын
@@claudedottin1312 absolutely 💯 percent. But for some it’s just a fashion statement. I don’t believe in the fashion statements. Trust me I’d love to have something that makes my suv looks serious. But it’s not. It doesn’t have 1000 horse and going 300 mph down the street 😂 so I don’t.

I wouldn't say that loosing 2mph because of putting the duckbill on the car was dumb, because me personally when you get into the 9s that extra bit of down force does make the car feel alot more stable when you get over 130mph in the 1/4
