Pozdrawiam.

I don’t understand why you chose to split the groups the way you did at 3:42? It looks like you’re making TWO BATTERIES. Each is a 3S7P. Then connecting those two batteries in parallel to get 3S14P. Is my summary correct? It’s hard to follow the jumpers you add later. If you are indeed making TWO 3S7P batteries, then all of your hard work to use “repacker” to obtain capacity matched 14P groups is wasted. Your 7P groups will not be capacity matched. Why not simply put all 14 cells in group 1 next to each other in a 2x7 arrangement? Then repeat for group 2, and again for group 3? It simplifies your jumpers and guarantees each group of 14 cells stays together…. Which means they will be perfectly “capacity matched.” Another note, at low currents your configuration is fine, but at high currents you’ve got ALL THE CURRENT going through one tiny piece of nickel strip. Probably should double or triple the 0 Volt and 12.6 Volt terminals. Also, for your BMS… tap into the ground and 12.6 Volt terminals at opposite ends of the battery instead of the same end.

Hello, I have a question regarding this same BMS please, if I want to draw like 15-20Amps, should I use balance wires that can carry this current, or maybe is it possible to use small sense wires and in same time connect a thick wire from the main negative and positive of the battery to the discharge terminals??
@keith_ferdinanduz2 жыл бұрын
Actually, if you use 3S BMS Board you don't need thick wires at 4.2V and 8.4V points. But you do need thick wires at 0V and 12V points, as well as charge/discharge terminals.

Hi DanielW, I liked your piece and tried to copy it, but I have a couple of problems. After assembling it I recharge it at 12.5v, 2.5Amp. After 5 hours I reached 12v but the side closest the BMS heats up a little and the voltage is not ordinary, I have 3.50 7.8 11.77 instead of 4.2 8.0 12v as written in the BMS manual . I made a mistake or...?

Przemyśl sposób zgrzewania ogniw. W połączeniach szeregowych między celami 1S->2S->3S płynie pełny prąd obciążenia pakietu. Tutaj taśma musi być gruba, a połączeń wiele. Wszystko dopasowane do maksymalnego obciążenia pakietu. Dałeś 3 paski taśmy na 40A (do tylu pozwoli obciążyć ten pakiet zastosowany BMS) - to zdecydowanie za mało. Połączenia równoległe między ogniwami tych samych cel są praktycznie nieobciążone prądowo, mogą tam płynąć prądy wyrównawcze poszczególnych ogniw. Można ten fakt wykorzystać i dać taśmę cieńszą lub tylko niklowaną, zamiast czystej niklowej.
@danielw8553 жыл бұрын
Dzięki, wezmę to pod uwagę. Aktualnie pakiet pracuje z prądem do 5A max.
