Nice build, very clean, thumbs up! But 2 comments from my side: -At 5:10: Too dangerous in my opinion: While welding on the second side of the battery, there should be some tape for isolation on every cell you are not working on at that specific moment. If you missplace your strips left or right or one strip falls down on the pack while handling it or something like that you´ll get a short. Also if there is a metal strip or anything else conductive left getting under the pack. -Why are you using black for the positive discharge wire???

I though you only needed 6S for 24v... I am confused, if these are 3.7v nominal voltage that would make it 25.9V and 29.4V fully charged. I am thinking of building the same for my scooter that uses two 12в lead acid batteries.
@mcells_batteries6 ай бұрын
Hi, in battery world is 24V for 6S and 7S...like a 48V is for 12S and 13S. Same 60V for 16S and 17S. It's rounding. For replacing 2 12V lead acid batteries is good choice 7S connection.

A physical barrier more than kapton tape would be preferred for the BMS/balance cables. Something like barley paper but this is a really minor thing to point out. The fact that you're using kapton paper is enough honestly, KZbin is full of Indian kids using cells that look like they died 10 years ago and have been rusting away at the bottom of a river ever since, put together with zero capacity, IR testing, no balancing is done prior to assembly they don't even look at cell voltages and then they solder some random wire to the terminals and call it a day. Followed by 1200 comments saying "Genius boss you are great. I wish one day to build battery like you" Ehhh 20 seconds later the barley paper comes out! This is a quality build, just don't use the Smart Daly BMS's. The dumb ones are just fine though, good price and they work.

Hi, thanks for your comment :D This build was build 2 years ago, so today we use fishpaper for basic insulation between cells and balance wires. @@rockefelleragent1357 yes I build a 24v 100ah battery with 18650 cells for my home AC and water pump, but unfortunately the damaged from charging and discharging process because 18650cells don't have that ability to work with inverter. but I will try to make a new one with life-po4 like 21700
@rockefelleragent13572 жыл бұрын
@@GulftodayT If you don't mind me asking are you using solar panels to charge your battery to power your home appliances like AC or heater? If so, can you tell me what size panels you are using and how they are connected (series or parallel)? What inverter are you using? What is the input voltage required for your AC air conditioner (or heater)? As for the 18650 battery cells they will do fine powering your unit through inverter if they are quality name brand new conditioned cells and set up right. I don't recommend using LIFEPO4 batteries as they have lower limit of operating voltage range and cannot handle high amp charging and discharging. Samsung 40T 21700 may be the best battery to go with as they can handle high charging and discharging, and it doesn't lose charge in freezing/below-freezing temps, extremely efficient and reliable.
