Man I needed this one dude my tap water is making my pets sick. Instead of scissors next time you need to cut zip tie grab toe nail Clippers it will leave a cleaner cut no Jagged edges lot harder to damage whatever you're working with thanks for the video dude it was very helpful

I think I would add tubing to the outlet of the LifeStraw. I'd be concerned about the leaking water bypassing the filter into the container.

you dont have to cut the cover off the straw, the collar removes from the straw then you can put it back on.

Good base for safe water creation. Adding a drip line would be a effective and easy solution for increased safety. Just tie a string around the lifestraw and hang that string to the side to keep runaway water droplets from landing in the jug for when you are checking the outflow.

Reinforce the hanger hole with the duct tape. I saw a lot of water coming down along side the filter. No good.
