I wish I have more thumbs to put them up! I had never soldered anything in my life, my first try with this video and made 2 working speaker cables. I like the thoroughness of the video. The conducting test came in very handy otherwise how would I know if I did the correct job? Thank you for the video!!!

God bless you for doing this video. But not sure why you included the video since your hands were always blocking your work.

is it only Dayton 1/4" ends that have the center jack as positive and the long contact as negative? Or do all cables generally do it the same way? I'm trying to repair 1/4" guitar patch cables and also 1/4" speaker cables

How to know which is the positive and which is negative. Why one wire is thicker than the other. I'm putting together wires Audio Pipe gray and blue (which is positive?) Blue is a little thinner and a little thicker gray. Thanks good video.

can i use 1/4 inch stereo instead of mono

A tip is to use heatshrinking tube over the positive cable inside the jack, becouse due to stress on the cables u could get a shortout. I did that on my cable. Good video thou.

these wires looks way too thick .what is the gauge
@PartsExpressOfficial8 жыл бұрын
+borhanus 12 gauge wire. they are thick because of the way the plastic separates the wire.
