What you can do is cut a flat spot in the log to fit the jack so it wouldn't slip. Nice job.

Great idea!...I am wanting to make a CJ3B style high hood for my wagoneer..I have alread sheared off the sides so I can make CJ8 style body panels..I knew that there must be a way for me to make a custom hood and you guys really helped with your hydraulic press set up.
