Did you use cotton seam binding? Was it 2.5cms wide?

I am going to make view A in a minerva challis that is 140cm wide. How much extra fabric will i need as pattern gives quantity for 150cm wide?

You can usually get away with the same amount of fabric if there is only 10cm difference in it. But to be 100% sure, you can lay out your pattern pieces first just to check they would fit in that width

Are you making this out of a woven? I thought the pattern calls for knit. How did you adjust the pattern to adapt to the woven? How did it fit??

One of our ladies at STITCH bought 4m fabric from minerva and was very disappointed to receive it in 4 pieces with no note of explanation.

I am sorry this happened to her, but I am quite surprised. Minerva has always emailed me to tell me the sizes of the pieces and to ask if I wanted the fabric this way or if I wanted to cancel this part of my order and get a refund. They also ask if I would like to cancel the whole order. Perhaps this person missed the email or it went into her junk/spam folder.

@@MinervaDotCom I'll let sue know your email address. I said it was unusual to receive 4 pieces and not one continuous piece. We've encouraged her to ring you. I said you'd be able to offer an explanation. One of the pieces was 10cm x width of the bolt which she didn't think she'd be able to do anything with.... we offered various suggestions like...belt or hair scarf, scrunchie, dolly outfit, narrow patch pocket... I'll pass her your email on Wednesday at next session. Thank you for replying

@@nanrussell6423 I thought it odd. Usually if the quantity can't be supplied as one piece I get an email offering options. I hope she rings up or at least emails. We all tried to keep her smiling though with alternative options on her 4 pieces!
