It’s a pleasure for me to leave this comment. I’m working on How to make a 3D Origami Swan #2. It is the most beautiful 3D origami swan that I have ever seen. I live in Argentina, what about you? I go creasing and folding the papers little by little, so I don’t get bored, and completing every step with great enthusiasm. I’m a grandmother of 63 years old, and I’m recovering from my fourth surgery. I’m actually feeling pretty well, the origami helps me relax. Thank you, thank you very much for uploading this video where one can see clearly every step. You are a Great Master. A fraternal embrace and kisses of Light for your beautiful soul. Elenita.

Hi there! Is there any way to harden the finished model? Please let me know.
@3dorigamivideos2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way still, I just glue the pieces as I am making the model. Hope this helps.
@dhaisaugraam2 жыл бұрын
@@3dorigamivideosThank you for responding. With glue, it can’t be moulded later. That’s the only reason I don’t use it. Some people online have suggested acrylic sprays - I tried that but it doesn’t harden the paper, rather creates a shiny layer on the paper’s surface.

Made one myself, looks pretty awesome when it's done, have a picture up on my G+ profile. I made the neck considerably longer than this model because I wanted it to curve a lot more than this, gave it to my grandmother for Christmas. Took about 1200 Pieces for me, roughly 40 pages of A4 Paper cut down into 32 pieces per page, took about 24 hours of constant work just to cut out all the squares and fold the triangles. Building it was considerably easier than the patience it required to make all the parts Haha! Looks awesome! Would definitely consider making another, Thanks for the tutorial.

They are size 32. By that I mean you have to fold a normal sheet of printer paper 5 times and you will get 32 small pieces that make up one sheet.

@2:29.. arrived there but my looks different. there is a hole in the middle and the last row doesnt stick out like urs. should i start again? p.s. started again. looks better now ^^ p.p.s NOPE! still a hole i nthe middle.. man.. why?!?! damn... that hole makes it loose and it doesnt look like a vase at all (like @4:30) another go.. for any1 who wants to fold one 3d swan too.. if ur star doesnt looks like @0:45 dont go any further. try to achieve it. if u have same circle like the one in video u r on the right path xD plus dont try to stick a triangle into 2 others deep. do it gently like in the video. sticking it deep will stop u from creating a spherical look later..

all you have to do is figure out 1040 divided by 32 = 32.5 which means you need 32 sheets and a half (but I suggest just using 33 full pages and making the neck longer than it shows you in the tutorial

Damien L sure about what? and I don't get u :/ u mean 1/32 A4 will be small? no.. I did this already and it's as big as shown in the video. but my swan isn't like his. mine is wider.. my problem was and still is.. that I can't make a base. I use print paper and I think it's too thick.. I can't connect my base when i have enough rows etc.. it's too hard to connect. even if I manage to connect, it doesn't stay connected. the pieces slip off.. actually every 3D origami I tried.. same problem..the pieces slip off.. :'(
@sakujo208 жыл бұрын
Damien L hard part is obviously folding. u will need to fold 1000.. that's why u get used to fold it in my opinion. u just need the time xD 1/32 was fine for me.. fold while watching movies/series. ^^ or u can buy 1000 folded pieces for around 30€ on the net
