OH MY GOD! When I've seen the amazing final product before watching the making videos, I didn't expect the HUGE amount of work behind it, and challenges that you've gone through! you are a hero Estefannie!

Omg this is the best youtube vid you have done to date. I cant wait, nay.... I NEED the third instalment. So so so need closure :) Wow, you worked so so hard on this. Up at 2am with a light out in the dark working endlessly. This really is a perfect example of something someone wouldnt/couldnt do unless they legitimately loved doing it, as you clearly do. Awesomesauce!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)

Great work. I’m on the same project and watching you go through the visor and vacuum molding issue was hilarious! I went through the exact same thing. Had to raise the hold to get the perfect visor. Moving on to the chrome plating next and tinting the visor.

Definitely your most ambitious project yet! Amazing work, and even more amazing dedication! I would have quit at sanding a 1am. Hahah Can't wait for part 3!! And I'm sure shooting the video is a project in itself. I guess you've never tried tinting even slightly curved car windows or you would have known the tint idea wasn't going to work. lol. I've never been able to get tint to look good except on perfectly flat glass. There's definitely some skill needed for tinting curved surfaces..but to tint what basically amounts to a small radius half sphere would be extremely difficult. I think the only way you might have got it to work was to break it up into pie shaped pieces. But with the backing being plastic and not glass you can run a razor down, I think it would be nearly impossible. I'm really curious how you ended up getting it done! Part 3 please!!!

I feel your pain on the sanding part.. A lot goes in to these helmets. I have a Thomas and Guy Man (RAM Era) helmet finished and Chromed. Now I am working on my Discovery era Guy Man. Just finished the LEDs. So close to being done yet so far. Anyone looking to make these Helmets and you want to Chrome it contact Don at Coat of Chrome. He does amazing chrome work. Stay away from Creations N Chrome. I've had nothing but issues with them.
