At 3:08 wouldn't you want to cut the boards to be about 46 1/2 inches long and not 22 1/2 inches? That part confused me a little but great video otherwise

Using the tracks for the plexiglass door is such a good idea. I was going to just put plexi glass inbetween two pieces of wood at the top and bottom so it can slide inbetween but the tracks will save material and effort thank you!

No problem! I actually didn't use the tracks until after I made my first 3 enclosures lol The tracks work a lot better for sure.

Naw, since it's a big set up it has plenty of ventilation. It would probably only be bad if you want to add 2 basking areas

Could you use belly heating for snakes on this enclosure? And if so, how?

Definitely, but it would have to go inside. Exact how? That I wouldn't really know because I don't use them. You would need to make sure the mat is below something that can let the heat go thru, like glass

@lasabrionwalton99352 жыл бұрын
I used liquid nail to seal the inside corners… it’s been drying for 48 hours, some research tells me “liquid nails” is chemically inert once dried, is it still safe to put my reptile in with the corners having the liquid nail on inside corners?
@jpslizards2 жыл бұрын
I would cut what dried on the outside. Normally you want to clean what comes out after nailing it together
@lasabrionwalton99352 жыл бұрын
I used it along the inside four corner of the back the tops and sides, as my build had quite a few gaps along the inside where the boards met (uneven cuts) There is a generous amount of this liquid nails now, I accidentally used it in replace of the silicone, will any residue or chemicals soak into the bedding and cause issues with my Boas skin? (I’m not worried about it being peeled of or eaten)
@jpslizards2 жыл бұрын
Oh ok, I thought it was a lizard set up. As far as I know, no, it will be completely dry after a couple of days. I would still cut the extra stuff though. You can never be too careful. You can also waterproof the set up with drylock
