Okay, maybe I missed it (if sorry, just LMK where to look in vid) but his so you hang it from the ceiling? Command hooks if so how many, which ones? Apparently, I can’t figure out weight proportions! Mmmmwith the fishing wire? Some super amaz

We hung the cloud from exposed pipes that were in the ceiling of the venue. Anytime you're doing something like this it's important to talk to the venue ahead of time and scope out the space to make sure that attaching the base structure is feasible. Attaching directly to the ceiling is ideal. In theory, command hooks would work, but if they popped off mid reception that could pose a real problem. #yikes.

I like that you discuss the amount of product and price range. If you're not in the floral industry, working with flowers and greenery daily, it looks easy and very cheap to DYI.

We try to be as transparent as possible! When it comes to Baby's Breath, you typically always need more than you think you do!

Thanks for sharing, love the results! I'm thinking of doing this for my wedding later this year. Would love to know - how long your piece of wood/chicken wire contraption is please, and how many stems in a bunch?

Our wood was around 3-4 feet and we used around 15-20 bunches of baby's breath. We would love to see how yours turns out - just be sure to check with your venue ahead of time to make sure they'll let you hang something like this!

I was hoping you could give me an idea on how to do babies breath that runs down wooden stairs! Would you suggest cages zip tied together in stair step fashion?

It depends on what your timeline is! If you have time the day of the wedding to create the cascade down the stairs you could use chicken wire and insert the baby's breath similar to how we did the cloud in the video. If you need to create the display ahead of time then we would recommend creating your arrangements in floral foam that could be placed the day of the wedding. This will allow the Baby's Breath to have a water source!

Baby's breath is sold as a growers' bunch but approximately 10 stems

The length of the board we used was around 4 ft long but after adding the chicken wire and product you can increase the size. After we added everything it was probably around 6-6.5 ft long but we could have made it bigger!

Thank you so much! This was about 5 ft long at the end and about 2-2.5 ft wide in sections. With an amorphous shape it's sometimes tough to gauge!

Question... If I wanted to do this and let it dry, how would I go about that? As far as preserving the baby's breth while it's assembled?

Baby's breath can dry out by itself in a large build like this. The blooms would shrink a bit but would still have that cloud effect and should hold its shape. You could also start with preserved baby's breath instead of fresh!

Can we use fake or dry baby's breathe if we don't have time the day of? Would it look too different?

That's a great idea if you don't have time to create on the day of the event! Since it will be high above the ground, you're guests won't notice the difference if it's faux or dried baby's breath!
