I'm so glad it helped you! 😍. A side note ...when choosing s fabric, find one that is strethcy LENGTH WISE, not width. Width wise will still work but the length wise stretchy fabric will be more comfortable

I know this is old but I'm curious about the fabric. I bought jersey and it was fine when my baby was a newborn but now that he is 9 months he is just too heavy and the fabric stretches to the point it hurts my back and he sags. What kind is better for a bigger baby and into them being toddlers? Something stretchy but won't sag and is sturdy enough? Poly-spandex or a cotton spandex maybe?

Cotton spandex is the material from my favorite wrap that I've made. The jersey worked as a newborn during summer months but same thing happened to me, once the baby grew, the fabric put more strain on my upper back.

I’ve read that stretchy wraps can only be used when they’re smaller and that you have to use a woven wrap once they are older

It all depends your body. If you're a petite girl then 5 yards will DEFINITELY do. By petite I mean size 4 or below. If not, I would suggest getting 6 yards and then trimming the excess

I suggest 6 yards long to be safe This will also make sure you have enough material for your growing baby. I was a size 12 in pants in this video and Large/XL in tops and i had plenty of material. If you're petite, you can totally do 5 yards.

I measured the width of the fabric I have so far and it’s roughly 30” like yours, so does that mean if I want 30” wraps that I can get two wraps out of the 6yrds? Would you say the 20”wraps are good for newborns up to a certain age and the 30” helps make the product last longer as the baby grows?

@@dd470_ I'm a little confused because I've never seen fabric at only 30" but let me try to understand here. How wide was your fabric when you originally bought it? It should've been between 54" - 60" wide but still 6 yards long.
