How to Make A “Backwards Only” Level in Super Mario Maker 2!

Is there a way to build a Super Mario Maker 2 stage that can only be beaten backwards? I’ve tried to build such a level for ages, but at least in Super Mario Maker 1 it was not possible. But thanks to the new Super Mario Maker 2 additions it is finally possible to build a Super Mario Maker 2 level, where the floor collapses as soon as Mario looks to the right!

Hey Ceave, it actually is possible to make a backwards only level in Super Mario Maker 1 with a surprisingly simple setup. The setup for this is the following: This contraption takes a 3*4 space surrounded by ground tiles. The top left three blocks will also be ground tiles. In the top right is a muncher. Right below him is a cloud of donut block. To the left of the cloud or donut is the P switch. The bottom right, there are two upwards springs. FInally, in the bottom left there is a boo inside of a clown car.

Like a puzzle stage where Mario gets a koopa shell for example, and has to throw it into the right spot so that he can jump up onto the next floor, but during all that is not allowed to move horizonatally. I think your horizontal don't-look-right section can be defeated. If you slide to the right until a contraption is active, but then walk back to the left of it again, the ghost will drop the muncher and deactive the contraption. You'd still have to know where the contraption was, and do it all again for each of them.
