I thought it was just me who had horrible luck with DIY stuff! I was inspired the other day to make a cute little hanging garland for my mantel with these tiny gift boxes. Alas, there was not red and white twine at the store, so I picked up some red twine and white twine to weave together to get what I wanted. Took over two hours to do, holding the twine in between my teeth as my fingers ached from twirling over and over and having to consistently untwist the ends of the twine every five twirls. I would figure after that, there would be sweet relief. It was not to be, as I determined that the tiny gift boxes have handy loops...that face the wrong way. Put my thinking cap on, and taped the loops to face the right way. Great! Just went to assemble everything....taping the loops in the proper direction still does not guarantee that they'll face forward when hung on the twine. Am now contemplating my sanity. Glad yours worked out in the end! I loved the video and I love your channel (have been subscribed for close to two months...came from your Poundland collab with Hermione Chantal).

I made a wreath with a bent coat hangar like you did here a few years ago, all I did was wrap a string of tinsel garland around it! Then you add a a couple ornaments or floral picks and that’s it! It was so easy and looked really cute. Maybe you could try that if you’re looking for another simple project.

Having had a bad cold, chest & flu for 4 weeks & a treacle day today (aka trying to get stuff finished with concrete blocks on your ankles in a lake of treacle), I have laughed & coughed my way through your video. You are a real tonic. ❤️❤️ Oh yes, & thank you because I have inherited dilapidated, much loved, very old wreaths (think 1980 😄) which fall apart on a regular basis & are getting very heavy with my addition of extra wire to hold the holly leaves etc on; sad as it is, it just did not occur to me to use my trusty glue gun because when I was a child wreaths were wired. Drrrr - off to get them all down from the loft tomorrow & probably melt my glue gun like yours but I will pinch my husband’s super duper, all singing, used only for his wood turning version if necessary & deny all knowledge. 😂😂 I am a very happy lady now so a big thank you. I feel a hot toddy with whisky, lemon juice & honey in may help too. 😉😧👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
