I have a MacBook Air mid-2011. I've follwowed these steps and correctly wrote the flash drive, but when I boot with the options key on my Macbook Air - I don't see my USB drive listed, only "Internet Recovery" Is there a workaround? Edit: I remember using a different combination of keys for my MacBook Air to just install High Sierra OS directly from the internet, instead of the Lion OS X it was booting to.

Hey Brother do you also make error videos about imac's? if you do please help me out on this one so i have a imac early 2009 (a lil bit old) it was running yosemite and everything went fine i wanted to install windows 10 on my mac with bootcamp so both os will work but i tried every single thing and at last i created a bootable usb for windows 10 using rufus and it worked but i had to format my hard disk for that and i did windows 10 was working fine but you know my mac had 4 gb ram so it was taking so much ram and i down graded to windows 8.1 which went sucessfully i installed all the bootcanp drivers and in it you have to restart your mac and it did but the next day i boot into windows 8.1 there is just a blue screen with nothing on it and not even the windows 8.1 boot screen so i create the same bootable usb like i did with windows 10 multi iso with rufus and the setup loads for a bit and says driver_pnp_watchdog bsod any help pls (sorry for bad grammar )

I tried using TransMac to create a bootable High Sierra usb, and I did all of the steps properly (went though cmd prompt, diskpart, clean, convert to GPT, etc.) However, when I try to insert the usb into my macbook and hold the option key to list the USBs to boot from, it does not list any USBs , just a blank screen with a black cursor. What is the probable cause for this? I couldn't figure out what it is, and I really don't want to buy some premade usb off of ebay just to get it to work. Unfortunately the only machine I have in my house to be able to do this is my dad's old HP all in one that runs extremely slow, and sounds like a jet turbine when it is running.

Hey so I recently put kali Linux on my Mac and I removed it using Rn -rf /* because I couldn’t find any other way to remove it without bricking my system, now I want to put Catalina on my Mac again, I did this process as well as all the other processes but I’m using a dmg file to make as a bootable drive I held down option key and power button but it isn’t listing, and the hard drive which is there shows windows then when I click on it it says no operating system how do I fix this issue?

It can be of couple reasons, the image,the thumb drive you are using,the software you used to create a bootable media you can double check each one maybe there is an error somewhere
