Love this for using ‘favorite’ big print fabrics. An alternative for the top is to do a decorative stitch.

I’ve made many embellished towels. I prefer designer fabric on both sides. MY TIP: Cut the bottom turned hem off the tea towel first.

I cut the hems off and serge the edges when I add borders to towels. Reduces bulk and lays down nicer.

Great video! I see you used the same color thread for the top and bobbin. Since the towel is white is it ok to use white bobbin thread or is the top color preferred for both? Thank you so much.

Glad you liked. The bobbin thread could for sure be white, but I always try to use constraining thread from the project so it will show up on camera:)

Does the edge stitch foot come with the Bernette B79 machine or is it available separately?

Hi, according to the bernette website it doesn't come with the machine www.bernette.com/en-US/models/bernette-79 but it does come with the Blindstitch foot which you might be able to use as an alternative. I didn't see that there is one for the b79, but like I said there might be alternatives.
