Nice! Couple of advices: 1. Use nitrile gloves when working with resins. 2. Put peel ply on top of your laminate, under the bag. It will produce a surface that has excellent mechanical bonding properties for subsequent epoxy bonding. No sanding required.

Thanks for the advice. You're totally right about the nitrile gloves! I ran out of stock, but I should have used them. I might try peel ply for a future project. I like to build on a budget, and even though the peel ply might be convenient, my thinking so far was that I could get I done without 😉

NICE! :D That construction method (wihtout a tone of complex moulds) had occurred to me. But probably only works for smaller models? The expanding foam technique, I already used it for my 3d printed hulls. It works great. Looking forward for the next instalment in the series! Cheers

Thanks Raf! This technique works for bigger boats as well, but then I would add 1 or 2 layers of weave, depending on the size of the boat.
