I am naturally aversed to any 3D processes but this video is a really nice insight into a relatively simple process that is just executed very well, makes it so much more palatable to try out! Great stuff!

I have a question: Whenever you prepare a complex scene with each object having a big amount of verticies, how many hours does it take you to render it? I dont think it can be done in less than 5 hours for this scene in my opinion. İts quiet a lot for a simple looking render which is actually really complex.

For stills mine renders in like a minute or two. But I have a very good graphics card. For animations much longer. If your pc is terrible Id recommend the new Eevee Next - not a perfect solution but works pretty well and sometimes just as good as cycles
@-MrPeas3 ай бұрын
@@maxhayart Well my pc is not terrible but my graphics card is probably not that good. I dont know stuff about compter parts so I'm not sure. I want to make an animation which I will probably use Eevee. But I sometmies try renders in cycles and it takes a lot of time to even render a detailed texture with displacements usually. So I cant probably make a render like yours. But I was just curious. So no problems. Thanks man, appreciate it 👍

I think your organization i key to a project like this.And for art render specific.But for game art.is tottaly different thing.Thats where the problem start.You have to model as one complex mesh.
@christianmartinez3513 ай бұрын
Amazing.. in this course do you learn modeling and shading?.. or only give the assets and make render?
@maxhayart3 ай бұрын
I recorded a good chunk of the modelling - I cut out some of it since it got a bit repetitive but I show the full process I use to create these models from scratch.

Are the planes that make the sky have emission or how are they not blocking the sunlight like the alpha clouds?
@maxhayart3 ай бұрын
You can actually just disable the shadow for that object if its blocking the sun. Its in the object properties tab somewhere I'm pretty sure

Hello Max, I believe that a lot of us would say, that you desperately need the add-on which tracks and displays the keyboard buttons you are pressing. I love to follow your guides, but spend double the time trying to figure out the shortcuts you are using and not describing.
