The full ceramic process of making a salt cellar. I made this one on a wheel but the same shape can be replicated using the pinch pot method (hand-building), turning it upside down so that the dome is facing up, and attaching it to a slab base. Once it's attached you can cut away the hole, neaten it up, bisque fire it, glaze it, and then glaze fire it!
I used Amaco Potter's Choice brush-on glaze in the color Indigo Float (available at Clay King, more info below)
I use white stoneware high fire clay.
