How to make a cheap-ish Mega Drive test cartridge

I needed a 240p test cart to test some things, but I don't have a flash cart. What I do have is a junk copy of Columns and a pile of EPROMs, so let's mash them together until something works

I am NOT an expert, I have genuinely NO idea what I'm doing, and mostly just glue things together and use a lot of Google-fu until stuff works. I've been tinkering with electronics since I was a kid but have no formal training and will probably do things incorrectly. Nice project! I didn't know so many test suites existed. I think I'll have to look into it some more since I'd like more test carts for different systems.

Interesting. Since you had to run a wire to the A17 pin of the EPROM, is it possible to only fold it outside to make the whole process reversible?

Yes absolutely! Really would just need to cut the wire and bridge the gap that I cut with some solder to be reversible
