Oh !...one more thing... After you make your mold...before pouring your casting material...which by the way can be resin..wink wink...you can "paint" mica colors on parts of the mold...say the leaves..with orange gold and green...it'll be picked up by the casting material... Just a thought to make you go "hhmmm"... Have an excellent day Jordy...🌿🌿🌿

Jordy when I was making ornamental cornice I used something similar to plaster of Paris when molding, I put a thin covering 1/2 inch thick then used hessian strips and strips of wood 1/4inch by 1 inch the full length to give it strength then topped it off, it's looking good mate 👍.

Jordy I love your vids and have learned a tremendous lot of things from them. Don't know why but it's occurred to me how you might become a beloved icon to law enforcement all over Canada

I'm thinking if you & tool cos teamed up to teach your carving skills @ juv detention centers, to top few really bright kids all cops would love. it...and tool cos, like Dremel, etc would probably happily contribute tools. This might help keep kids off he steet and give them a glimpse of hope that otherwise they wouldn''t see. As a retired lawyer I visualize a JJohnson LLC, your being its executive @ a good salary w benefits and a board of directors consisting to tool co execs. I wouldn't be involvedat all.

Quick mold or not they look great. I was wondering if i were to make a mold for a shelf holder pair similar to your og peice if adding internal frame out of wire or wood would enhance the holding strength of the shelf. Or even tubing for a light bulb etc.

I think they came out pretty damn good. As good as most of the stuff you'll find in a garden shop. I see the gnomes and other garden statues/plant hangers/birdbath's with all kinds of stuff wrong with them. Chunks of the (whatever there made of ) stuff hanging on them. Pieces broken off or not quite right. They sell them everywhere. Nuthin wrong with your's, better than a lot I've seen. Hi Jordy.
