Great question Gamma. I haven't made a hat with those specs before so I'm not sure. I do know that for a child that age the hat should be approximately 7 1/2 inches long, if that helps.

Great question! Yes, Suzy that's correct. As I show in the video, because of how thin the yarn is the hat comes out smaller than an adult size. And of course you could knit less rows, if you prefer.
