Quick question: what is a vocal chain?
@checkmatenate4 ай бұрын
@@martinmondo7086 A vocal chain is the process or steps it takes from the sound of your voice from when it hits your DAW. A lot of audio interfaces have built in mic pre amps and converters. High end vocals rigs have dedicated or analog Mic pre amps, Compressors, EQ's, and converters to get the prestine clarity aside from having a high end microphone. so it goes voice > mic> mic per> Compressor> EQ > Interface > Daw

@Dracoriax3 жыл бұрын
You can just reference it against a note on piano - just get a free app from your phone. Look at piano chords you want to use online and play the notes they are and voila! You can follow along. You really don't need perfect pitch to be a successful musician. It's way more useful to understand functional harmony and learn your intervals.
