Will this still work if you sew one pretty dress separately then add the “rags” dress on top ?

If I made this dress for myself and put it on, here's what I would do: Put on the blue dress on top of the "rags" dress, put on an elastic strap or belt then fold up the white part tucking it under the strap, then put the blouse on then remove the strap, making sure the white part doesn't fall out.

That’s an excellent idea!! Would definitely make putting the dress on a lot easier…. Especially if you are doing it on your own!

I just used circle skirts! I used a t-shirt as a guide for the jacket and bodice. 🩵
