Nicest clipboard I've ever seen. This is a great Etsy shop item, I bet it's cheap to ship across the world.

That is a good point, it's flat and more or less light.

That came out great! Beauty!

Thanks! The only thing I would do a little differently is to use some kind of very short brass binding barrels.

I think you’re right, I had this one on the back burner for 3 years, not sure why I didn’t just finish it. Filmed over fall, winter, and summer, before and after new shop lights.

What a wonderful clipboard! Thanks for sharing! I wish I had the wood working equipment to make this clipboard...

Thank you William! Keep an eye out for some used tools. I bought my table saw for under $200 and you could use more hand tools but it would take longer :)

Lovely video! I love the masking tape trick to help with alignment and avoid epoxy smears. Subscribed 😊
@heyimamaker4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the sub! The tape method seemed to work well, but epoxy is so messy!

like the look of that walnut and maple well done

Thanks so much! I wish I had some nice short screws to attach the clip. The epoxy is holding so far but I can see it snapping off over time.

I really want to make a clipboard. I just keep forgetting. Must ad it to the project list. Nicely done. Looks great 👏🏻🙌🏻😁 also... the chapters thing is so cool. I must look into how you did that!!
@heyimamaker4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! If you start with 0:00 and then go from there, it will add the chapters/table of contents to your video 😁

The clipboards looks great. It is nice to see that you and I put in the same type of research and precision to determine the best length for such a board (plop the notepad on it and mark a line that is longer than the pad. Perfect!!) they do say, brilliant minds think alike. LOL BTW, your closeup B-rolls are sweet!

Nicely done and looking clipboards! With the not everyday clips you used where did you find those just wondering cause they kinda fits nicely with the wood
@heyimamaker3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I bought them here www.smallboxhardware.com/ they have a bunch of finishes to choose from. I live in Canada and did find others in the US but shipping was ridiculous.

Nice clip board man! The video is cool too, if I can ask: how did you make the little chapters or sections on the timeline, so you can see where is what? Thats really cool!
@heyimamaker4 жыл бұрын
If you look in the description there is a Table of contents. I think as long as you start with 0:00 it will show the markers.
