What a beautiful video ❤ I actually wanted to watch one of your videos because they always brighten my mood, but I didn‘t want to watch one about sewing because I am ill in bed and couldn‘t jump up inspiredly. So listening to you talk about your memories was the best thing!❤

You have definitely inspired me to do a round up of 2024 in the above style so thank you. I also have plans to do a journal for next year, using the style of Lindsay stitches but with cross stitch and not every day but every week. Little steps!!! xxx Thank you x

It’s beautiful! Some of the best wall art is that which is personally meaningful to your life story. I do this kind of thing as well, but with tiny illustrations using 005 pens on the blank exterior of my agenda/journal, whenever I can signify a day with a memorable/meaningful little drawing. If you keep them for a few years, there’s cohesion between the covers, but each one is unique and gives a snapshot of the year in its collection of illustrations. Also thank you for sharing your "post-pandemic" Covid story. Sadly, it’s ongoing and still worth taking precautions in crowded poorly ventilated situations whenever possible. Beautiful work! I also really enjoyed the fabric shopping video from your trip.

Love the unique idea for travel momentos. I like to buy local makers clothes while on trips, so I every time I wear the item I’m reminded of where I was when I got it. currently working in a couple outgrown/worn out tops into a scrappy quilt, so the memories live on. Side note: love the lip colour! Stunning.

So beautiful Janelle - and your obvious joy in the whole project is inspiring! I loved what you were saying about how these little images are able to conjure such vibrant & specific memories of each & every day, as opposed to the 'blur' that holidays often feel like. Lovely too, that this is very much a shared project of memory keeping with Matt 😊

Thanks so much. I followed your Japanese journey with great interest and literally *gasped* when you held up your framed masterpiece. Your earlier videos inspired me to do this for a recent 6-week trip I took to Europe. Because I was traveling around a lot with carry-on only bags I decided to keep a journal to inspire my images to stitch once I got home and to help me relive the whole trip in a deeper way. These tips, especially Stitch Fiddle will help me bring this into reality. I loved your stories! 🧡

I love this so much! Like you said, those little icons store so many memories and probably make you remember your trip more vividly than just looking at photos. I've had a collection of really nice stitching thread from a family member for some years now and never knew what to use it for because I feel like I don't want to do one big thing. And I also went on an amazing 20-day-trip in September, so maybe I will connect those two and cross-stitch 20 tiny pictures about my trip with the thread that means so much to me.
