Very nice, but it seems narrow. What was your reason to decide on this depth?

Because 99% of my cuts are less than 9 inches. If I need to cut panels I have an incra sled but it's bulky and heavy unlike this sled

SCREWUP ALERT! - If you make this sled, don't put the insert screws UNDER your fences. Like an idiot, I placed them below the fences so now I have to remove the fences, move the screws and re-attach the fences again.
