@Ellis Dee Sure but I think we can all agree it is very unfinished without something in that center cavity. I think its fine to put it back but something special needs to be done. a custom paint job on the airbag cover etc.

I suggest making a skull model. A real looking one that could even be used in a lab or a school or a medical facility. I'm sure you've seen the ones that actually come apart so you can see the inside of the skull where the brain goes. (In that case, the skull would have three pieces, jaw cranium and base) If you were ambitious enough, you could reproduce an entire skeleton! :D Thank you for considering this idea.

I have a toyota echo 2001 whose wheels have covers made out of some foam(or flexible rubber) that is attached to the steel rim. after hitting a wooden box, one of the wheels got badly damage. Since its been impossible to find a replacement I had to use a conventional steel rim with no cover. I was wondering how to reproduce the original cover, either using urethane foam or other type of polymer that can have a smooth finish

Hi Milo! I really enjoy watching your videos. I have a project that I have been planning to do using smooth-on products and watching your videos to learn how to do what I want. I have a 1999 Camaro and want to create my own modern-looking LED taillights. My plan is use my stock taillight housing to develop a mold that I can use to create a new housing that will work better with my idea for the LED’s. I also plan to separate the lenses and create new ones using your video of the yellow lenses you created. Would you be able to create a video showing how to mold and create a taillight housing that shows what smooth-on products would be best to create the mold and the housing, as well as the best method for producing the mold (e.g. vacuum or pressure). My idea for the new housing is to keep the basic shape of the taillight and the screw posts that mount it to the vehicle, but removing the exterior convex/interior concave of the taillights and flatten them out for LED strips. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding my request! Thank you for your videos and I look forward to seeing more of them!
