so i have been a subby since you started, i am a nail bitter, guilty as charged lol, anyways i long time ago i asked you for advice and you gave me good advice on how to care for my nails, i was not commit as i should have been, but i decided enough was enough im going on 28 and wanted nice nails and didn't want to bite them anymore, i did everything you said, i made a routine with my manicure, nail hardener, and oil and let me tell you my nail although thin, they are long and beautiful and i stop biting them. i use gloves when ever i clean like you said or wash dishes, and take a spare if i am going to someone's house. thank you ,you are awesome, because everything you have provided does work. it was just up to me to make the change

Hey there, bonita! I have a very basic question - you say you apply it 3x a day, so you use it over your manicure, right? Will it get to your cuticules through the nail polish? Also, I've got a tip for you from Brazil - here when we can't find a nail hardener we just add 6 or 7 dried cloves to a base coat bottle. It works wonders for me. Hope it helps. Xo~~

I made a nail/cuticle serum for a week now. It's 2ml of jojoba, 2 ml avocado, 1 ml of Vit E and 5 drops each of chamomile and lavender essential oils. I choose the oils b/c all are quick absorb and great levels of vitamin E. I think I might try sunflower next time since it's the richest Vit E oil there is. I make all my own skin care products tho, so this was super simple.

I used to use the Sally Hansen cuticle oil which was quite expensive for the amount. I realised that I could easily make my own and I bought a small bottle of sweet almond oil which was cheaper than the cuticle oil and I found that it showed great results on my nails - even better than the SH cuticle oil. I really suggest investing in a natural oil instead and if you want, combine it with whatever you have in the house like olive oil or coconut oil.

Hey! Great video. Just a little tip, you should never store your oils in a translucent container. The vitamins in the oils are very fragile and sensitiv to light. Specially the Jojoba and avocado. You should invest in a brown or blue glas or plastic container to store them :)

I watched this video several days ago and afterwards I made something similar! Here is my current concoction: avocado oil, all the juice and pulp squeezed from one entire lime, a few drops of lemongrass essential oil, and coconut oil. I placed mine in one of those little 3 oz travel size bottles. The cuticle oil gave my solution a little more thickness that was easier to manage since I'm using a flip top bottle with a hole that I squeeze the solution out of. I didn't have an empty bottle with a brush available. I keep my bottle in the refrigerator because my husband said avocado oil can go rancid. He is an awesome cook and found out this information from watching cooking shows.

If you have empty nail polish bottles, or any nail polishes you don't use and wouldn't mind dumping out you can do that than put some nail polish remover preferably acetone remover in the nail polish bottle after dumping the remaining polish out, let it sit for awhile and clean out all the left over residue in the bottle once it's all clean just put your oil and or oils in there.

This might be a dumb question, but since the "ingredients" you are using, "two carrier (base) oils" (Avacado & Extra Virgin Olive Oil) you stated to use "6-12 drops of the essential oil for every 1oz of the carrier (base) oil" & since 4 Tbsp. of each carrier (base) oil equals 2oz would that mean to use either a minimum of 12 drops for one of the carrier (base) oils (6x2oz.) or a minimum of 24 drops (6x4oz), because there are two base oils? (I tried to count the amount of drops you used several by rewinding over & over lol, but no luck! And also I have read in a plethora of places that "Tea Tree Oil" is good for nails so with that said can Tea Tree Oil (or any other essential oil be used in place of the lemon oil, Such as "Myrrh essential Oil" (Myrrh oil is thought to be one of the best essential oil to help nails grow. With its moisturizing properties, Myrrh protects fingernails from becoming brittle, thin and breaking. It also keeps the cuticles moisturized in order to provide a healthy environment for the nails to grow in. Feb 24, 2020). This is why I am very interested in using Myrrh essential oil along with the other fantastic carrier oils! P.S. I'd like to create three different bottles of cuticle oils, 1. Lemon, because it naturally disinfects, Brightens & makes them shinier, healthier as well as nourish the cuticle, 2.Tea Tree essential oil for its antifungal & antiseptic properties. 3. Myrrh essential oil for its moisturizing properties that protect nails from becoming brittle, thin and breaking. (that is if you think it's "ok" to use a different essential oils?) 🤔 & knowing exactly how many "drops" to use is really important to me! 😊 Thank you! 😊
