They definitely have some shoegaze elements but they wouldn’t be considered shoegaze. Alternative metal is probably more appropriate if you want to give them a label

@@feezo Exactly, thanks for the correction. Some Deftones songs have very similar guitar and drum tones to shoegaze, so it's a little confusing to tell the difference.
