You can definitely use small clear ones for the individual diapers. I’ve never seen any large clear ones sold so if you have, great! Use whatever works best for you. The glue dots are the larger ones of the 2. I’ve never liked the mini ones as they don’t ever seem to stick very well.

Do you think double stick tape would work instead of glue dots?

Hi Johanna! Double stick take can definitely work but it also depends on what you’re trying to tape. Tape doesn’t always work with all materials. Always test a small piece. Also when using heavier items, you want to go a different route to avoid them falling off. Thanks for watching! 😊

You can possibly start with 1st row 6 2nd row 12 3rd row 19 2nd layer on top of 3rd row 12. In the center add a stuffed animal to fill in or baby stuff. Even shred to act as filler in the center.

Great instructions, even for a non crafter like me. I must admit I love the idea of the outfit and it was in one of my favorite colors. But for me personally I thought it was more suited for a newborn before you added the darker garland aNd flowers between the tiers. The different ribbon sizes and textures were striking in the softer subdued shades of blue. Thank you for making it “seem” so easy a non crafty person like me considered trying it. 😊

Hi Kearsten! You can add a little bit of glue with your glue gun on the bottom then lay some shred on top and carefully push it down. It should hold pretty well since shred tends to stick together. Thanks for watching!

Is it necessary to remove the rubber bands from each diaper? Is it just so they don’t show because I’m using clear tiny hair bands and they don’t show at all. I bought some larger glue dots and I’m having trouble removing the dot from its paper, is there a secret way or did I just get bad dots? Thanks for your help! Johanne

If the rubber bands don’t show, you can definitely leave them on. The dots have always removed pretty easily from the paper for me. Make sure they’re not the really tiny ones. Those don’t work very well. Best of luck and thanks for watching!
