Kevin, I am always totally blown away every time I watch your videos by your your amazing skills. I'm also appreciative of you & your staff for the information (not to mention your products) that you pass on to those of us who are attempting to learn this trade from the talents such as yourself & your talented staff. I like the depth of info you cover whether you're explaining a product, procedure, etc. especially the manner in which you explain things so most everyone can understand. You're not appearing to talk down to anyone yet NOT talking over anyone's head either. I've seen questions asked of you & honestly IDK HOW you even answered them, but you somehow very graciously did. I guess this just shows your true character because this isn't true w/ all of the folks (silversmiths, metalsmiths, &/or even sometimes so-called, etc.) who share their knowledge on KZbin unfortunately. Once again, Thanks Kevin to you & your staff for all of the EXCELLENT knowledge, videos, & products. From one person in KZbin land who is attempting to learn this trade by talented professionals like yourself please know YOU & YOUR STAFF are appreciated MORE than you could ever possibly imagine because I have learned so very much from ALL of you!!! Thanks again & PLEASE keep up ALL of the EXCELLENT & HARD WORK!!! All of you are awesome!!! 😉

Thanks Kevin, very interesting. I was just looking at my grandfather’s signet rings tonight with family, they had been put away carefully for the last 50 years. Seeing your pressing tools and die I can now see how they may have been made. I always enjoy your videos, thanks👍😁.

Thank you for your demonstration and your craftsmanship you are very experienced. Your kit is very smart. But a drill press cost a lot and I guess we can’t use the kit without having a drill press right?
@potterusa Жыл бұрын
You do not need a drill press in order to use this kit.

What kind of solder was that? I haven't found anything that blends so we'll with copper.
@potterusa2 жыл бұрын
It's just silver solder. If you use just enough solder (not too much), the join will barely be visible after refining the ring.

I make rings and bracelets with a 14 gauge. 12 is too hard for me and 16 isn't enough.
