Great video. Can you do a video on what flowers you can place on a cake and how to do it. TIA

Hi! I just love your videos so much! Is your bouquet hand literally being held just like a vase? No stems in between fingers etc. like I see when some people are building bouquets? Your hand looks so relaxed and like it's just holding on to the bouquet with ease (mostly)!

Thanks so much for the video! I'm going to do my bridesmaids bouquet in a very similar style, and they're going to put them in vases at the reception. I'm having a hard time figuring out what kind of vase will fit best once the stems are trimmed down? Seems like the more typical "hourglass" vase wouldn't work... Any suggestions? :)

Miranda Wagner I’d recommend a smaller vase with a 3-4’’ diameter!

Sorry, I responded earlier with my personal account. But yes, go with something short and squaty! A smaller mouth will make it look more like a full centerpiece rather than a bouquet in a vase. I would also use a vessel that is solid in color like mercury-gold....with glass you will see the ribbon.

Love your work! How do you feel about bulk ordering greenery and flowers from say Sam’s Club or petal driven? I’m DIYing all of the floral for our wedding and I’m kind of nervous about it. Not sure what quantities to order.

Check out our site, we specialized in DIY weddings! Here's the scoop with cheap, bulk-online flowers: they are typically B-grade blooms (think grocery store flowers). While there's nothing wrong with b-grade blooms, you get what you pay for and the aesthetic is much different than premium florist-grade flowers. To sum it up, you won't have the fatty roses and such that you see on Pinterest. As a florist for the past 12 years, I can buy cheaper from Sam's Club than I can at wholesale, but the outcome would not look at the professional level I need simply because the product is not Dutch or the premium Ecuadorian blooms. We sell only from professional wholesalers, so if you live in the same city, you can drive and pick it up. Check us out at www.flowermoxie.com . We have pre-made packages and recipes to help with the 'How much should I buy question?'

Roughly how many stems of greenery would you plan for a bouquet this size and style?
@FlowerMoxie4 жыл бұрын
That's such a hard (but good) question because one main stem may have multiple branches. For bridesmaid bouquets, in general, I average 1/4 bunch of greenery. So if I'm mixing multiple greens I imagine using 1-2 stems per type. So maybe 6-8 stems in total, but know that each greenery stem will have a few extra stems that are attached to the main one. Clear as mud? lol

That down vote must just have been from someone day drinking as they make their bouquets.
