Mick used a bunch of tube distortion pedals, two phasers, reverb, tape echo, tape machine, two spring reverbs and a practice amp for a feedback loop, gaining 4 times more than it can handle. Also, using the sidechain compression and reverse limiter.

Yes. The video is just a simple version of that array.

Sick tutorial dude, I would love to see more tutorial about Argent metal 😁🤘

I'll think about doing some more in the future. I definitely need to master a little bit more of its intricacies to be able to upload a meaningful tutorial, but let me know if there is anything in particular that you would like to know.

Very nice, I may borrow this for a 'little' project I'm working on, I'll probably post something on my main channel when or if I get anywhere.

I wasn't able to follow along exactly but i was able to use the notes at the end and it worked great 👍

Any suggestions for an iZOTOPE substitute? It's been discontinued.
@davidcsontos Жыл бұрын
That's the beauty of it. You can easily replace parts of the chain with what you can find. It's all up to you, and whether you like the sound. I would probably point you to Neural DSP's Plini, specifically the first, acoustic amp. I use that a lot as well. Try and look at guitar amp emulations, and see which one you like the sound of. Then, turn off the cab! If I remember something else, I'll post it in a reply here. EDIT: You could also check out - Unfiltered Audio Dent 2 Argent Compressor

@davidcsontos5 ай бұрын

could you to a tutorial on how to do this in bandlab? uh i kinda cant install apps that require admin to install, dont know how to use a daw, and am broke af EDIT: i just made something that (i think) sounds good, but then i realised i cant play for shit so it doesnt matter how it sounds
@davidcsontos7 ай бұрын
Hi, unfortunately I don't have any experience using Bandlab. Reaper does have a free evaluation license if you wanted to try it!
@WyattRobbins142 ай бұрын
Can I suggest something? I don’t know if FL studio trial uses admin to install, but if you try that out and just mess with it for like 20 minutes a day you will learn how to use the buttons, and even the trial mode has a ton of stuff, and you can actually install plugins into it.

whats the tuning on the oscilators?
@davidcsontos6 ай бұрын
They should be at least an octave down, if not two, from what I remember. This can depend on what notes you're playing.
