Great video! The auto generated voice actually made this really comprehensible. I will *ABSOLUTELY* be trying that trick with the punch; so smart!

An excellent looking wash bag. Happily bought the pattern, now shopping for leather!

Beautiful as usual. I am still on the Summer Breeze Bag and this is definitely my next project ❤

It may work for you? But I had similar issues with my hands and joints (I love the trick with the elastic band by the way) and I used a similar hammer to you. I tried a heavier one and I know it sounds counterintuitive but it actually made things less stressful as it didn't take as much effort to move the steel through the leather and punching holes became sooooo much easier. Just thought I would say :)

My round punches are incredibly sharp, I sharpen them like here kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYGzm6xseayeeNk&t I don't have to use a big hammer because of this.
May I know why you're not using a 2/5 prong stitching iron to punch the holes?

I am used to my single punches, Makeing holes is a small part of the work. And I hve projects where the distance between holes on the gusset is different than the distance between holes on the face of yhe bag

Thankfully I've seen enough of your tutorials that I could follow along WITHOUT the artificial audio. 🙉

I really don't know how to do it better. KZbin made me almost invisible and I try everything I can to impruve mu YT channel.
