Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I like that you displayed multiple ways to use the tool and the brush.

So many dislikes and stupid comments!! This is why KZbin sometimes gets me so angry!! I have a channel and some of the comments I get are ugly too!! Don’t let the negative ninnies and trolls win!! That is great work!! Inspirational for all beginners to get an idea on how to do this!!

I remember teaching this technique when I taught set construction at a well known film school. Glad to see it's still in use.

Can this be done to hide screw holes and imperfections?

I’m sure you had your woodgraining rocker/rubber on the wrong way round as when you started at the top and drew down rocking slightly towards yourself it drew a straight scuff instead of replicating grain .. you saw this and were unhappy with it but struggled to find out how to rectify

Ive been looking for that grain tool. Can you tell me where you got it. Thank you

You really nead to know what you're doing BEFORE trying to show others. You didn't even follow the simple directions on the package. Unless you are doing an unboxing, on camera shouldn't be the first time you touch them. Maybe even write something down and get rid of all those "umms".

Is the curved tool called a graining tool?
@fordgirl208 жыл бұрын
+nonh8nsk8r Yes, it is. Not sure why she didn't say that. :)
@richardbuchanan54972 жыл бұрын
No, it's not. Young people give it their new names (ex. Mother is actually muther, log lifter is actually a cant hook), and "graining tool" is actually a comb.
