Thank you for this! I’ve always struggled with the end but when you said to place those last stems lower-it clicked!

I watched a video and it helped me create for the first time ever, a beautiful bouquet for my friend for their wedding tomorrow. I did exactly what you showed and it worked out so easily.

Wow. that was perfect. Thank you for b teaching me so much in such a little amount of time. I'm new to arranging flowers but not new to gardening. This is my first season making bouquets and I have had such a blast I'm excited to learn more from you.

This was SO helpful as I made my sister’s wedding bouquet. I’ve watched many of your videos. My only question is how to keep the bouquet light and airy when I go about tying it. I feel like tying it makes it a more tight bouquet instead of light and airy.

Very disappointed of this too short stems cutting! It's mockery. The same as slamming flowers on the table or getting them bold of any leaves. You florists should learn to respect nature. Meaning using the flowers closer to their shape, size and nature.

I cut the stems short for bouquets that will be held by someone, this puts the focus on the flowers and not the stems when being held but still honors the principle of proportion and balance with a reversed proportion being the flowers. It works really well and photographs well for this purpose. If I am using the spiral technique for a vase arrangement, depending on the height of the vessel, I will leave stems longer to fit the proportions of the vessel. In my full on-line course, Bouquet Bootcamp, I cover the principles and elements in detail and use those as my guide in every design.
