Thank you for this video. I see that you use double sided tape to adhere the zipper. Do you have trouble (needle gumming up) with your tape. I have had trouble with sticking and skipped stitches when sewing through this tape. Perhaps you use a specific brand?

I use a juki sewing machine and have no problems.

Norma Stout I have a larger sized phone and it fits. The only problem is that because the wallet opens flat, the cell phone will easily fall out when the wallet is opened.

Great wallet, you made that looks so simple! Did you puncture a hole in the fabric, where the screws go or did you just add the frame?

Yvonne you don’t need to punch holes for the screws. When you tighten the screws, this helps to secure the frame to the wallet. The screws will add lots of pressure to the fabric, in the channel. Don’t forget to use glue!

You didn’t answer my question about the double stick tape gumming up your needle. You told me you use a Juki. That has nothing to do with it. What double stick tape do you use?

She did answer. She said she had no trouble. I think she added in that she has a juki so that you know that specific brand didn’t have any trouble with it. But I use double sided tape quite frequently and have no problems either, with a singer.
