The combination of AI and game development opens up so many possibilities. It’s impressive to see how quickly you were able to prototype and iterate on different game mechanics. Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait to see what other projects you have in store

Thanks for this interesting video as it's introduced me to new AI tools I wasn't aware of until now. I'll have to check them out and see what can be done with them.

He missed out the key part of game design, the actual mechanics of the game, how do you play the game of no one wrote the underlying code for the game, and why was code with chatgpt not a bigger thing as that's one of chatgpt's strong suits

Any company selling a product to the public won’t touch AI with a 10 foot pole. The devs are specifically told not to use it. If you use A.I to write your code, you do not own the rights to it.

And if you steal code snippets from someone else, it's not your code either? Or what exactly is the differentiator here?

@@Yuusou.The difference is when a human goes searching for code, they can see the copyright info whereas AI totally ignores copyright and verbatim copies massive swaths of code.

Summary of what this guy actually achieved in 5 days: - he made simple scene in Unity using basic shapes, based on 1 generated image - he generated some icons that are questionable in terms of commercial use - he coded by hand some basic game mechanics. All of this can be achieved in the same time without any AI tool. He even failed to mention how AI can help with coding, which is problably the most common way to incorporate AI tools into the development currently. I'm all for using AI tools in game development, but this talk fails on all fronts to show good ways of doing so.

Why are so many people censored on TED Talks? I've seen some talks posted in other YT channels that were originally recorded as TED Talks, but they were not permitted to be posted on the TED or TEDx channels. One talk seemed to be a legitimately questionable talk, that I could see why it was removed. But not so of the other talks. It seems that TED/TEDx will allow all sorts of wildly speculative talks that are thought provoking, so I don't see the reason why so many of these were removed or banned. I thought that TED was about ideas. Sadly, it seems that they are basing their decisions too often on politics or character assassinations as purveyed by wide swaths of the media. That's a very sad commentary on this channel - a channel that was about ideas, ideas that provoked thought and discussion.
