Wonderful idea, my friend! Don't forget that studios are often a screenwriter's biggest enemy because of all of the compromising interference with the script. A lot of Hollywood's old guard of writers are mostly good, it's just that the studio doesn't allow them to be as good as they can be. We gotta keep independent artists like Super Frame pure lol

​@TFoxRNG The thing is, part of what made Wally so interesting was that he is a successor to Barry Allen/The Flash. He doesn't start out confident that he is the Flash. In his mind, he's still Kid Flash but has to step up to the plate and fill those boots. And by the end of the run, not only has he lived up to what Barry had achieved, but in actuality he actually surpasses him as a hero, in terms of starting his own family and by becoming even more powerful than him. But you can't have that if Barry doesn't exist and set the bar before Wally. That's a major part of Wally's inner conflict starting out as the Flash

The thing is that Eobard's hate for Barry is so insane that sometimes or you go FULL CRAZY from "I ERASED YOUR BEST FRIEND FROM EXISTENCE AND KILLER YOUR MOTHER" to "It was me barry" So a little but more playing with Eobard's view of Barry would be a bit better, he only cares about him Barry was his Hero who would rescue him from his darkest moments but also lead him to insanity

Funny thing, my favorite Flash film is a LEGO DC movie. It involves Reverse Flash framing the Flash for causing problems after trapping him in a time loop. Pretty good for a LEGO film.

I'd love to see the Rogues as a fully formed group at the beginning of a Flash series, a group which respects Flash as much as they dislike him. I agree that Thawne should be the initial villain, and the Rogues maybe take a back seat, but going forward the Rogues can be occasionally heroic in protecting civilians from larger threats and ever present throughout, but never the true big bad. In my mind, the Rogues have always been more like thieves and robbers than actual supervillains, and I don't think we've gotten that type of villain in comic book movies so far, the closest being Vulture perhaps.

Or they could take inspiration from Rogues War and have a sequel showing the Flash having to stop a conflict between two groups of the rogues, one led by Captain Cold, who has a respect for the Flash and are against killing civilians, and other lead by Snart's sister Lisa, who is against her brother cold beliving it makes the rogues weak and uncapable or reaching their true potential as criminals.

Another villain who could work as rival for Cap Cold is Weather Wizard, who in most stories is arrogant, delusional power hungry criminal, who believes himself to be god, and probably wouldn't accept reciving orders from Snart, who he would probably see as just thief with cold gun, understimating Snart's intelligence

Barry’s character arch as you described it could also be used to great affect in the Justice League films and play into his relationships with each of the other members: The most logical character arch for Superman in the first JL film, at least to me, is him learning to trust the others to handle themselves since he’s spent his whole life with everyone around him practically being made of glass and Barry could be the voice of reason for this. He could explain how he learned not to feel the need to do everything himself and apply that to Clark’s life. Batman could at first be annoyed with Barry because of how he jokes around in combat and doesn’t seem to take it seriously, but gain a respect for him after seeing how much more healthily he dealt with his mother’s death. This could even be the inspiration for Bruce to adopt Dick Grayson in his next solo film since the whole point of that dynamic is that he wants to help Dick get the closure that he never did and move past it. After Steve Trevor, Barry is the next logical character to teach Wonder Woman a thing or two about the world of man since he’s the only normal person on the team and thus, the most in tune with that world. I would also love a scene where Diana makes a snarky remark about the League being a boys’ club only for Barry to counter it by telling her about Iris and how if it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t even be the Flash. Finally, it would be amazing to see the friendship between Barry and Hal Jordan in live action. They should have the most chemistry out of any two characters on the team.

Good stuff, especially the Wonder Woman angle, I hadn't ever really thought of that. Only thing i'll say though is that as a long time Flash fan, the joking around in combat and being this sort of comedic, yet intense, character has always been a Wally thing not a Barry thing, at least when you compare the two. In recent media, Barry has sort of adopted that from Wally (as well as other stuff, for better or for worse), so I am not sure how I would feel about continuing that trend. That being said, that would be a minor issue in a hypothetically brilliant movie that Superframe has made for us

Barry was more serious than Wally when it came to be flash (atleast at the beginning of Wally’s Flash career) but I’ve always felt speedsters (atleast to me) carried a humorous charmed to them. Sure, he's known for animation but he's done live action like Mission Impossible 4 and Tomorrowland, and well as coming up with 2 future live-action projects. Such a great pitch! LOVE Barry's arc, and how you mapped out his progression so meticulously. Particularly love the time travel elements! Now I gotta check out Speed Racer XD My pitch: Similar character arc as yours. "Moving forward, not backwards". It can focus on Barry's desire to investigate Nora's murder, despite people telling him to move forward, like Iris West and his partner August Heart (Who we establish as a friend of Barry while setting the seeds for his downfall)Then I'm thinking the villain can be MIRROR MASTER! Always LOVED Mirror Master, and think he can offer some film-worthy visuals, like the mirror dimension stuff from Doctor Strange. Beyond that, I envision Mirror Master having a similar motivation to Kingpin in Spiderverse: Wanting to use the Mirror Dimension to bring back his mother (Paralleling Barry) but at the cost of tearing apart reality. Also, the Mirror Dimension itself and Mirror Master's ability to create Mirror Duplicates could force Barry to have to literally face his past in physical form, thus helping to fulfill his arc. We could see the genesis of The Rogues, as Mirror Master turns all these powerful individuals against Barry, forcing Barry to confront his impatience. This could get Barry in trouble, trapping himself in the Mirror Dimension near the end of the second act, becoming lucid, unable to escape. But through facing his past, by unlocking his full potential, he is able to escape it, in an EPIC moment (At least epic in my head XD) where Barry breaks through the barrier between dimensions, stopping Mirror Master, not just through a battle. Still, through telling Mirror Master he has to move forward, in a scene like Spider-Man 2. The film can end with Barry putting aside his investigation into Nora and focusing on those around him (As you suggested in your pitch). Then for the sequels, I'm thinking THINKER could be the villain for the second film, getting Barry to think more. The film could also introduce Wally West and could end with the Speed Storm from the comics, giving both Wally and August powers, setting up Kid Flash and Godspeed for the third. Then Reverse-Flash could possibly be the villain for a fourth film, FLASHPOINT, which can be a big crossover film if it were to take place in the DCEU, while still keeping the focus on Barry. HOWEVER, your pitch is *PERFECT* for introducing Reverse-Flash as the villain for the first. And that's my pitch! Went on a bit, but couldn't help it! Here's hoping, Ezra's Flash movie is good🤞(Tho I wouldn't bet on it)

In a flash trilogy I would really like to see it start with Barry as the flash. In the second movie you can introduce kid flash and in the third movie Wally will become the flash. Barry can heroically die in a crisis movie. In the third movie we can see Wally coping with the death of Barry and seeing him becoming the new flash.

Why is everyone obsessed with having Barry die? Dude can say "yo, I'm off for paternity leave with Iris, can you be Flash for me while I'm gone?" And Wally becomes the Flash. We really lack creativity, do we. Story-wise, it's much better to have Barry Alive, than dead, because now you can have both Flashes Team up when Barry's done with Paternity Leave, and both fans will love it. Similar to how Batman and Nightwing are in Games and Movies

Personally, I like the idea that a lot of the heroes aren’t fully-formed when they join the Justice League, and their experience with the team is what helps them decide to use their abilities for good, to become heroes rather than outcasts. It does make it tricky to establish a bunch of characters in a team-up film without each having previous origin movies, and you can debate how well Snyder pulled it off with his four-hour runtime, but I thought his approach was neat, mainly just in that it was different from Marvel’s, but I really thought it worked for giving Barry, Victor, and Arthur each a sense of purpose and belonging and helped them all to see their own potential, setting them off to have their own adventures later. Arthur felt like he could belong and didn’t need to be an outcast, Victor realized he wasn’t a freak and found peace with his existence, and, most relevant to this video, Barry saw his own potential and the good to which he could put his abilities. Not that that’s the only way to do it, but I don’t think we need to assume Marvel’s formula is the only way to go either, and I like the idea of saving some of the characters’ full development until after the team-up film acts as the pivotal call to action and sparks their hero’s journey. Whether Ezra’s version of Barry was completely faithful, I liked the idea of him still being in this weird place where he doesn’t know what to do with his gifts yet and his obsession with finding catharsis for his trauma is destroying his life, and it takes being pulled into this adventure for him to see himself as a hero and find that sense of purpose and focus to become The Flash.

I think that having just one Barry movie and making the character obsessed with the idea of moving foward to have him learn to slow down are good ideas. Because I also think that The Flash, more so than other heroes, its define by being a legacy character. Wally, Bart and Jay should have a time in the spotlight too. Exploring what does it mean to "move foward" to Barry was to learn let go the past and slow down, to Wally its maybe get over the shadow of his mentor and reaching his full potencial and Bart could accept the fact that he has enormous shoes to fit but its okay as long he is doing his own thing and trying his best.

Barry was always one my favorites (pre-Crisis, no idea other than his mother's death and Speedforce now being a thing what was changed post Crisis), so while its cool seeing the Flash finally become know to mainstream public, its with a bit of disappointment that the personality is always so different from what I grew up with. Basically its a different man wearing the ring even if they call him Barry Allen. I liked that he was the middle class down to Earth every man. And that he was that way for a lifetime before becoming the Flash makes his take on being a superhero unique (or should). While everyone else was angst-ridden, reactionary, thrill-seekers, alien or iconic, he was Ward Cleaver or Adam-12 if they got powers. That started to get delved into but then Crisis happened. He's not boring, he's just well-adjusted. And in the JLA that just might make him the oddest one of them all. You take on him is slightly different than mine, but I would love to have your movie come out.

Great solo film idea. I knew I found good channel when I heard your masterful GL movie saga. If it were a trilogy, I'd like to see it close to what you said with Rouges first, then Grodd and then RF. The picture idea is that Thawn would technically be in all 3 films influencing events that build to the 3rd. Like Thawn could mutate Grodd like the CW if we wanted to avoid Gorilla City. Maybe even have the Rouges return as help. I don't know what you'd do with a Flash Family because I'm not as in tuned with Flash lore but that's all an idea.

This is actually great plot for The Flash movie (though I don't think having time travel in the first movie is a good idea, but Flash: Year One had this anyway). As for the sequel, I think this movie should focus on Barry mentoring Wally into becoming Kid Flash. In my opinion this will make a great contribution into overall idea of moving forward, having Barry mentoring his nephew to become a hero after becoming a hero himself. As for external conflict, the rogue war might work pretty well. Sure, this was Wally's story, but it works for Barry perfectly fine and would feature Wally on a major role anyway. I’d love to see your take on Wally West and what makes him stand out amongst all the Flashes from the past

While I realy like the script, I have a problem with Thawne's backstory. Due to the nature of his character he has a lot of versions to his origin story, but I read one that I really like and also is far more personal to Barry (when I tell it now I also add a bit of my own, though it would fit his character). Eobard Thawne was born in the year 2451 and from the moment he first opened his eyes he was obssessd with the flash. the flash was there to comforts him all of the bad moments: when his dad killed his mom (which is ironic because in some versions, Barry's dad is arrested for killing Nora), when he had no friends, etc. he had comic books, posters, action figures and costumes of the flash. he was his no. 1 fan. he wanted to BE THE FLASH. Here would be a good time to pin point that in all of his versions, Eobard Thawne is a Genius. In the comics I'm talking about (which is called "Flash Rogues Reverse Flash") it is stated that he had an IQ of 167. Because of his intelligence he's able to recreate the accident that gave Barry his powers, and now Thawne is taking upon himself the mantel of The Flash, but because the future is so advanced and safe, he needs to create problems for him to solve, and dangers to save people from. After a while of Thawne just creating problems and solving them without anyone knowing, Barry accidentally arrives to the future and meets Thawne himself. Thawne is so excited and together they save the people of the 25th century, but it doesn't take long for Barry to realize Thawne himself is creating most of the problems. This realization starts a fight between the two of them, which ends with Thawne losing and being sent to jail, and Barry returning to the past. Now this is when the story gets real interesting. Rather than throwing a tantrum Thawne understands he was wrong and for 10 years he serves his sentence in prison (even though he has the speed force and can easily break out) and going to a therapist in order to become better. After 10 years he feels like a changed man and he returns to the 21st century to show Barry how much he's grown as a person and to ask for forgiveness from him. Upon arriving, though, he's shocked to find out that Barry couldn't care less about him. He'd already gotten a new sidekick and forgot all about him. he's horrified to find out that the man he's been trying to become and then later impress for every waking moment of his 30+ years of living couldn't care any less about him. This is the ultimate betrayal for him. His entire world shatters. He doesn't know what or whom to believe anymore. His core identity is broken. Why have I spent so much time studying about the Speed Force? Why have I spent 10 years of my life rotting in a cell and going to an overpaid therapist? For this? He has decided what he wants to do with his life. He wants inflict Barry with all the pain he has inflicted on him. He's no longer the flash's sidekick. He's his worst enemy, his opposite. He is Reverse Flash.

This gives me such good ideas for a Flash movie. I couldn't imagine seeing a scene where Barry's chasing Reverse Flash, is trying to catch up to him, and is going so fast that he follows Thawne into the speedforce. In pure panic, he stumbles and is totally displaced in time. This would be so crazy as Barry's introduction to the greater speedforce and time travel. And it shows that Thawne is so much more proficient than the Flash, zipping in and out of time like it's nothing because he's edited Barry's timeline so much.

OOoooOOh man, this is awesome, I would love a Flash movie that make that connection between powers and the self, thoughts, feelings, much like the line of your kind of story. The only things I would add to this is the tragedy of a the kind of life Barry is living, always running into the next problem, but he would never out run the memories of his past, until the end, when he finally learn to move more slow, and second would be his reationship whit his villians, the Rogues are amazing and always got somekind of respect to the scarlet speedster, and maybe Thawne not only wants revenge or is obsessed with Flash, but with the symbol, the wrong idea of speed that got Barry the way is in the intro of the movie, a man who wants just to be like Barry. Amazing video, I really wants to see what is next in this "cinematic" universe of good dc movies

Okay, mad respect for using music from Speed Racer - a very underrated film. My take - look at some of the GOAT Flash storylines and be faithful to them. Sooooo, abandon everything that they're doing right now, which looks like just a bunch of shiny objects and nostalgia bait and memberberries.

This sounds great! If there were to be a sequel before Justice League, having the inner struggle with Barry fighting crime alone would work. That could work even if it is after JL because he could see Batman working with Robin, Aquaman with Mera, Superman with Supergirl and so on. It makes him feel alone in everything. Godspeed is then the villain. In the beginning, August becomes Barry’s partner and he believes his problems are solved. But August is stuck in the past with his brother’s death. Just like Barry was. August is Godspeed and the two has vastly different ideologies as Barry believes you are supposed to help people while August believes you’re suppose to punish and avenge people. By the end, Barry must learn and accept to be alone to finally beat August. Also him accepting his mother’s death would be what has changed his views making August a villain with similar problems but without the lesson Barry learned. For a third movie, Barry’s struggle could would be more about trusting others with the powers he has. As both speedsters he’ve faced as ended up being evil. He starts to believe no one in the modern day can be a good speedster except himself. But in this, he meets Wally West. In the beginning, Barry isn’t sure if he should train Wally because he remembers August but he through the movie learns that he has to trust that everyone isn’t the same. People are good. A way to have the first two movies push Barry into a darker place where he doesn’t trust people with enormous powers. But in the end, he trusts Wally and Wally becomes his partner in Kid Flash

I've always loved the idea of Barry giving himself his powers, but I really liked the concept for that whole sequence here. And I don't think having Barry learning his lesson in one movie is a problem. Just kill him after.
