Well it is a receiver friend. This Receiver has already been programmed to link with the remote's Transmitter. How? Well, He purchased an acctual Remote Control helicopter and took the Reciever from that. What comes with that helicopter is a Remote Control containing the Transmitter. Now, With very little adjustments. After he connects the scrap-helicoptors mechanisms to the Receiver, he can control it (SHITTLY.) with the remote controller that the Receiver is linked with. Now, This heli would not last very long. I am certain it would control absolutely horrifcally and it took him a really long time to get a good clip of it working decently. He may even have hung it from a string because it doesn't seem aero dynamic in my opinion. Anyway i hope this information is helpful to you.

A rechargeable battery weighs more than a regular Battery.. being a Mech engineer myself.. you should know this. I also invented the Non mercury battery for Energizer.. take a hike rookie. As a X pilot for the military also. Weight is a big factor in any Chopper. charge port.. extra weight, rechargeable batt. , extra weight. therefore cutting your flying time down a lot more and drastically. But.. stay in school and learn a little more. :)

It has to be from a remote controlled helicopter, the main and rear rotor have to be synchronized perfectly otherwise it will crash right away, also the main and rear rotor blades are too short in this example, if you look at an actual helicopter, the blades are one third longer than the length of the helicopter, this is to clear the body of the helicopter, which provides some resistance to the blades. Look on Ebay, I bet you can find a replacement main board controller, motors and the remote that goes with it.
