Hi, We're glad you enjoyed this video! If you're concerned about cleaning then we'd recommend a damp cloth for small marks, and for a full clean we'd recommend getting them professionally dry cleaned. However before dry cleaning, it's important to check that the fabric thats been used is able to be cleaned in this manner. There are a few points of stress on a roman blind so we'd recommend sticking to the usual method of securing the rods to ensure the quality of the blind. Hope this helps! Kind regards, Just Fabrics

@just_fabrics

Why did you measure/cut from the centre of the fabric. You ended up with two waste strips from either side, and then you cut off more from the turnings. I don’t understand. It seems you ended up with a lot of wasted fabric when you could have ended up with a usable piece. Please explain. Thank you.

Hi, The reason why we've shown this technique is so that if you've got a patterned fabric you can pick where you want the pattern to be in the middle of your blind. Also, if your blind was wider than the width of your fabric, we'd recommend that you have your joining seams at either sides instead of in the middle. Hope this helps, let us know if you have anymore questions! Kind regards, Just Fabrics

I may be missing the point but does knotting below the toggles not stop the cord from pulling through? Is that not what it’s meant to do for child safety?
@just_fabrics

Hi, We only do one single knot. This will still pull through the toggle if a child pulls or gets caught up in it, because we have the other safety devices on the blinds. These are the breakaway clips and the wheel that pulls out from the chain. Hope this helps! Kind regards, Just Fabrics

We've recently added instructions for the rod pocket measurements into the description of the video, here is the link for that: www.justfabrics.co.uk/inspiration/how-to-make-a-high-quality-lined-roman-blind. Unfortunately you're right, our kits don't provide the child safety clips and rings. Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We included lots of detail to ensure the final lined roman blind is of a high quality; I'd recommend using the time stamps in the description if you're looking to skip to a specific part of the make. Kind regards, Just Fabrics
